Michelle Rehbein, MA, MCAP
Michelle began her career as a teacher and has had the opportunity to work with many at-risk children. Some of these children were in extreme poverty or members of gangs. She feels fortunate that she was able to guide many of them along their educational path. For the past 6 years, she has worked in a variety of settings involving counseling and substance abuse. She has worked with children, adults, court ordered, and residential facilities. She has had a lot of exposure to adolescents and helping parents and adults with trauma and abuse.
Michelle utilizes a cognitive behavioral approach along with emotive-behavioral therapy while incorporating motivational interviewing and reality therapy in a client centered environment to treat the whole person in mind, body, and spirit.
